| TIPS and TRICKS
An important consideration when
ordering ribbon is to make sure that the ribbon is wider than
your label stock. This will eliminate any possibility of
"label edge wear", which is damage caused to the printhead by
the continuous rubbing of the label stock edge against the
printhead. A wider ribbon acts as a protector preventing
the printhead from coming into contact with the label stock.

Our TS864 CD/DVD
labels features an
aggressive
adhesive that
adheres to a CD/DVD
as well as the
case. The thermal
transfer image is
abrasion resistant
and will not fade
over time. We offer
two different hub
labels that are
designed to fit
right over the hub
and will not throw
the player out of
balence. One is
designed to fit the
hub of a standard
CD/DVD and the other
is designed for the
hub of two sided
DVD. The labels in
the table below are
configured for our
Label Maker. We
also offer
pre-printed CD/DVD
